Our Team

Daniel has vast experience working in both the Property and Financial Services industries since 2005. Having managed several Estate Agency branches, he made the move into Financial Services in 2013 and enjoyed great success before launching Wyke Financial in 2017.

What began as a mortgage and protection brokerage has since grown into the Wyke Group, bringing together three specialist businesses under one roof. Wyke Financial continues to help individuals and families with mortgages and personal protection, Wyke Business Protection advises business owners on protecting themselves, their staff and their companies through tax-efficient life insurance, shareholder protection, key person insurance and wider employee benefits, and Wyke Wills & Trusts helps clients protect their estates and provide for the people they love.

Daniel is now primarily focused on the growth and leadership of the Group as a whole, supported by an experienced team of advisers across all three businesses.

In his personal life, Daniel is married to Rebecca and has two young children. When not working or with the family, he enjoys Tae Kwon Do and football.

Becky oversees the day-to-day operations behind the scenes at Wyke Financial, ensuring the business runs smoothly and efficiently. As a central point of support for the wider team, Becky manages the practical and operational demands that keep everything moving—helping to free up advisers and support staff to focus on delivering an outstanding client experience.

Becky also plays an important role in supporting the company’s ongoing planning, development, and growth.

Outside of work, Becky enjoys a busy home life, spending time with family and friends.

Having spent 12 years in the banking industry for a major high street lender, Leanne brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to Wyke Financial. Her previous banking career involved many roles but most notably she spent time as an in branch mortgage advisor. It is this specific industry knowledge that makes Leanne the ideal candidate to head up our processing team. Leanne is responsible for ensuring all cases are seen through to completion and keeping clients updated of the progress.

In her spare time she enjoys home cooking to include amongst other things the production of a rather potent rhubarb gin!

Karla has been working in the Financial Industry for the past 14 years and has gained a wealth of experience during this time.

Having been a successful Mortgage Advisor for a high street bank for a number of years she made the decision in 2018 come on board with Wyke Financial to give her greater access to the whole market, meaning she can offer her clients a wider variety of products in the mortgage, protection and insurance markets.

In September 2024 Karla was promoted to Associate Director to coincide with the launch of our Wellingborough office which is Karla’s home town, and is headed up by Karla and her team.

She is friendly and approachable and prides herself on her professionalism and outstanding customer service.

In her personal life she is mum to 2 young daughters and enjoys spending time with her family.

She likes to sing (although she can’t) and loves exploring new parts of the country, most recently being the Lake District.

As Area Mortgage Manager, Mark draws on over two decades of industry experience to support and develop our team of brokers based in our Corby office. By providing day-to-day guidance, sharing best practice, and overseeing quality and consistency, Mark helps ensure our clients benefit from the highest standard of advice, service, and outcomes across the business.

Alongside his management role, Mark continues to advise clients directly, supporting them from initial enquiry through to completion, and remains available for both new and existing customers. With a broad background across the mortgage and property sector, Mark is well placed to help clients navigate the process with confidence, whatever their circumstances.

Outside of work, Mark lives locally with his family and enjoys all types of sport—especially running—and raising money for charity.

Gareth heads up Business Protection at Wyke Financial, having spent over 21 years in financial services. He takes pride in helping business owners and their companies put in place the right protection strategies for themselves, their families, and their staff. He is passionate about guiding clients through, what can sometimes be complex solutions, in a clear and approachable way.

A strong believer in continuous development, Gareth enjoys studying and taking professional exams, alongside building his skills in public speaking as an active member of Northampton Speakers Club (Toastmasters). He also enjoys reading self-improvement books, most recently Public Speaking: From Stage Fright to Spotlight & Atomic Habits by James Clear.

Outside of work Gareth is a keen runner, completing his first marathon this year. Home life is centred around his wife, daughter, and their dog Nellie.

Having previously spent 10 years working with the Lloyds Banking Group, Rebecca has always felt her home was in Financial Services. After building a strong reputation as a mortgage adviser with Wyke Financial, where her attentiveness to clients earned a plethora of five star reviews, Rebecca has made the move into a new chapter with Wyke Wills & Trusts.

Now focused fully on wills and estate planning, Rebecca brings the same care and attention to her clients that made her such a valued adviser. Helping families protect their legacy and make plans for the people they love is something Rebecca approaches with real compassion and dedication, and we’re sure the five star reviews will follow her here too.

In her personal life Rebecca spends time with her family and enjoys the occasional glass of wine!

Having started with Wyke Financial in August 2020 as an administrator, Millies enthusiasm, understanding and hunger for the financial services industry has shown no bounds.

Having been the support for MD Daniel Wyke for the past few years Millies attentive approach to client care has naturally seen her develop towards becoming a broker. It was our greatest pleasure to help Millie on this journey and we are delighted that Millie has qualified as a Mortgage and Protection Advisor and began looking after our valued clients in this capacity from May 2024.

In her personal life Millie enjoys time away with her husband.

Craig has been in the local property industry for over 10 years now and brings a host of knowledge and experience to Wyke Financial.

Having worked within the Estate Agency sector and also the mortgage industry within this time; Craig can not only help find you the best mortgage & protection deal, he can also help guide you through the buying & selling process; helping make your dreams become reality.

He has a friendly & bubbly personality which leads to clients coming back time after time and is also showcased by his numerous 5* reviews.

Outside of work, Craig is an avid Newcastle United fan and also a big follower of American Football supporting the Pittsburgh Steelers. When not helping clients get their dream home, he is travelling the world, experiencing new places & cultures.

Samia began her career in financial services in 2016, starting out in mortgage and protection admin. She has gained experience across banks, independent financial advisor firms and estate agencies, giving her a well-rounded understanding of how each part of the property and finance world operates.

Driven to progress, Samia completed her CeMAP qualification while studying in the evenings around a full-time job, which says a lot about the dedication she brings to her work. She has now been advising clients for over two years and puts that broad industry background to good use every day.

Outside of work, Samia has a creative streak and enjoys painting, particularly if there’s a sip and paint evening involved. She also does nails, including extensions and nail art, which keeps her busy when she’s not in the office.

When it comes to downtime, Samia loves to travel and will happily swap the daily routine for a beach and a cocktail!

Joining Wyke Financial in 2024, Dan has seen most areas of the business, from case management, protection and home insurance. He has taken on the jump to Mortgage and Protection advisor like a fish in water. Building his knowledge daily and loves helping clients get there dream of buying their first home, moving house and just getting the best deal possible.

Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter and prioritises staying active as a keen gym goer. He is an avid follower of football and boxing, with a love for Manchester United. With a passion for travel to explore new places across the UK and abroad.

Having worked in the Industry since 2020 as a Mortgage and Protection Support Chands brings with her a superb understanding of the processes involved in the mortgage industry.

Her attention to detail and understanding of client’s needs is second to none and she continues to be a huge asset to the team.

Chands spare time is spent with her family and friends. She also enjoys regular walks with her dog, Coco.

Shanna is a valued member of our support team, ensuring client applications are handled and processed in the most efficient manner, while keeping clients updated every step of the way.

Shanna started her career in the mortgage industry in June 2024 and has developed a strong interest in the wider mortgage market. She is currently working towards her CeMAP qualifications.

Outside of work, Shanna enjoys spending quality time with her husband and their two children, making the most of family life.

Having spent over 20 years in the banking industry with a major high street bank, Katie made the move into the mortgage sector in 2025. Drawing on her extensive knowledge of banking, finance, and customer care, Katie supports our clients through every step of the Mortgage & Protection process.

In her personal life, Katie enjoys socialising with friends and family, as well as focusing on personal wellness.

Shannon has a background in financial services both in the UK and overseas. Recently moving back to her hometown of Corby, Shannon combines her experience with a genuine passion for helping people find the right mortgage and protection solutions. She enjoys supporting clients through every step of the homebuying process, whether it’s your first home, a move, or a buy-to-let investment. She provides tailored advice that ensures you feel informed, empowered, and confident in your decisions, making the process as simple and approachable as possible.

Based in Corby town centre in the office of Simpson West Shannon is on hand to support you every step of the way.

Outside of work, Shannon loves hosting friends and family, travelling, and going on road trips with her partner. At home, she can usually be found cuddling on the couch with her cocker spaniel, Ruben.
